I wonder who really cares about who Jim Hoyt is ? Then I think, probably no one … but this is more for me to get my thoughts out. So i’ll try to get some thoughts out and see what happens. I just may learn something before I’m done … HEY HEY HEY!!
I work for Tickets.com based out of their Syracuse office, building private label ticketing sites, adding text to specific shows or to client venues, new venue maps, working on our website search, supporting other departments, as well as clients, and helping monitor onsales.
I am over 40 (GASP), divorced and pretty much a workaholic, sitting in front of the computer probably 60-70 hours a week. It took me forever to get through school, starting and stopping a few times over a few years, taking classes in Massachusetts, New York, and Florida. Finally ended up getting 3 levels of degrees – Associates in Business, Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management, and an MBA.
Watch a LOT of TV and have a huge collection of DVDs, as well as still having over 500 VHS tapes. At some point will get all of those tranferred to DVD, but that’s another project I’ve dragged my feet on.
I think this has turned into what should have been a blog post, so going to end it. You probably have gotten a general idea about me so let’s hope it doesn’t discourage you from reading my posts.
